Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for unsupervised learning and optimization
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum error correction protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for quantum AI applications
- Develop scalable frameworks for quantum-empowered decision-making systems
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in tensor networks, quantum tomography, and variational quantum algorithms
- Strong background in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
