Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum algorithms for specific hardware constraints
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive technical strategy for quantum AI initiatives
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or Physics with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, Grover's variants) and AI frameworks
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance computing
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Track record of translating research into practical applications
