Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for enterprise systems
- Develop optimization algorithms for quantum computing architectures
- Lead R&D initiatives in post-quantum cryptography (PQC) standards
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize algorithm performance
- Author technical whitepapers and contribute to IEEE/ISO standards committees
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum mathematics and complexity theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Cryptography, or related field
- 5+ years experience in algorithm development with Python/C++
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or PQC
- Deep understanding of Shor's/Grover's algorithms and countermeasures
- Experience with NIST PQC standardization process
- Security clearance preferred for government-contracted projects
