Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms and error-correction frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical system integration in cloud environments
- Develop quantum-safe encryption protocols for post-quantum security infrastructure
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processors with >1000 qubit coherence
- Drive quantum simulation initiatives for drug discovery and materials science
- Establish quantum computing governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms in frameworks like Qiskit or Cirq
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Proficiency in superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic systems
- Experience with quantum machine learning algorithms (QNNs, VQAs)
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerance pathways
- Certification in quantum security from IQM or similar institution
