Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Architect secure quantum communication protocols resistant to next-gen cyber threats
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and topological qubit systems
- Translate complex quantum concepts into enterprise-ready solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor junior quantum engineers while publishing breakthrough research in Nature Physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum machine learning
- Proficiency with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (Amazon Braket, Microsoft Azure Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to secure $10M+ in quantum computing research grants
- Certification in Quantum Computing Security (QCS) from ITPQ
