Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures integrating photonic and superconducting qubits
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead implementation of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum machine learning algorithms
- Optimize quantum circuits for real-world industrial applications
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum hardware-software interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or advanced semiconductor design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control hardware
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into engineering solutions
