Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms targeting optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead implementation of quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with security teams to quantum-proof cryptographic infrastructures
- Research and integrate emerging quantum hardware (superconducting, photonic, trapped ions)
- Document quantum system architectures and publish breakthrough research
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in practical implementation techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven experience with quantum circuit optimization and compilation
- Familiarity with quantum machine learning frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
