Responsibilities
- Design and prototype scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms optimized for real-world problem-solving
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence challenges in next-generation hardware
- Collaborate with AI specialists to hybridize quantum-classical computing workflows
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption systems
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Experience with quantum simulation platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti Forest, D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
