Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 10,000+ qubit capabilities
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for financial and government sectors
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum machine learning frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Optimize quantum error correction algorithms for commercial viability
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum aerospace applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and qubit manipulation
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theory
- Published research in Nature/Science quantum computing papers
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Security clearance for government quantum projects preferred
