Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Create optimization algorithms for quantum advantage in logistics and drug discovery
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum control system engineering
- Present breakthroughs at IEEE Quantum Computing Symposiums
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge research methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing breakthroughs
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Proficiency in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum control systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
