Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum system integration
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-generation communication networks
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computational theory and practical implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or advanced algorithm design
- Published research in quantum error correction or scalable quantum systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with high-performance computing infrastructure and parallel processing
- Proven track record of translating theoretical models into functional prototypes
- Clearance for government-funded quantum initiatives (or ability to obtain)
