Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving <10-12 logical error rates
- Create hybrid quantum-classical system integration frameworks
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams in quantum materials and cryogenic engineering
- Architect quantum communication networks with global entanglement distribution
- Establish industry standards for quantum benchmarking and validation
- Drive patent portfolio development in quantum algorithms and hardware
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum hardware design or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, color codes)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of superconducting, trapped-ion, or photonic qubit technologies
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience leading quantum computing projects with $5M+ budgets
