Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing solutions using Q# and Qiskit frameworks
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm development and optimization
- Validate quantum system performance through rigorous simulation and testing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Develop patents and publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum principles and implementation best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and probability theory
- Proven track record of delivering quantum computing solutions in production environments
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Expertise in high-performance computing and parallel processing architectures
