Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms and error-corrected architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Optimize quantum circuits for NISQ-era hardware limitations
- Develop quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Translate business requirements into quantum implementation roadmaps
- Partner with academia to publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Drive patent development in quantum machine learning and optimization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing with demonstrated hardware/software integration
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum annealing (D-Wave) and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in complex system architecture design patterns
- Ability to communicate quantum concepts to C-level executives
- Certified in AWS Braket or Azure Quantum platforms
