Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit stability
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum systems targeting 2026 deployment
- Create hybrid quantum-classical optimization algorithms for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum machine learning models
- Secure patents for novel quantum circuit designs and topological qubit implementations
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or topological computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and dilution refrigerator operations
- Expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms and variational quantum circuits
- Track record of securing >$5M in quantum computing research grants
