Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and error correction protocols for next-gen processors
- Lead architecture of hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence and scalability improvements
- Create quantum security protocols resistant to future cryptographic threats
- Research emerging quantum phenomena for practical industrial applications
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum software development best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed contributions
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Strong background in complex systems design and high-performance computing
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts to practical implementations
