Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems in AWS/Azure environments
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit processors
- Collaborate with MIT on quantum-safe blockchain frameworks
- Present quantum roadmaps to Fortune 500 CTOs
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in Python/C++ for quantum simulations
- File 2-3 patents annually in quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science quantum computing papers
- Security clearance for DoE quantum projects preferred
- Proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) architectures
- Experience with quantum error mitigation techniques
- Track record of translating quantum theory to commercial products
