Our team operates at NASA Ames Research Park, collaborating with Nobel laureates and government agencies. You'll work on projects that protect critical infrastructure while enabling breakthroughs in materials science and cryptography.
Responsibilities
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic systems for financial and defense sectors
- Lead development of hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for enterprise deployment
- Collaborate with quantum hardware vendors on firmware integration
- Develop predictive models for quantum algorithm performance scaling
- Present quantum security frameworks to CISO boards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system integration
- Expertise in post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC candidates)
- Track record of scaling distributed quantum systems to 100+ qubits
- Security clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
