Responsibilities
- Design and prototype quantum algorithms for practical 2026-era applications
- Lead the integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum chip architecture optimization
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming best practices
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum computing architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum information theory or top-tier quantum conferences
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Azure Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
