Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures capable of solving previously unsolvable computational problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum systems operating at 100+ qubit stability
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in quantum algorithm optimization for commercial applications
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise integration
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Drive R&D initiatives in topological quantum computing and room-temperature qubits
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum-resistant cryptography standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum computing systems with demonstrated fault-tolerance implementations
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and decoherence mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning and optimization algorithms
