Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for 2026-era optimization problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in quantum error correction research
- Create roadmaps for quantum hardware-software integration
- Anticipate 2026 quantum security challenges and mitigation strategies
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on quantum communication protocols
- Mentor quantum engineers in next-generation programming paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 3+ years designing quantum circuits with 50+ qubit coherence
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals (Nature/Science)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Familiarity with quantum-resistant cryptography standards (NIST PQC)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor integration
- Portfolio of quantum algorithm implementations with measurable speedups
