Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Develop error-corrected quantum computing architectures targeting 100+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with industry partners in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Optimize quantum circuits for near-term hardware constraints
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming and experimental physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant computing
- Expertise in superconducting qubit architectures or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel programming
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
