Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for blockchain and IoT security
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum computing with machine learning frameworks
- Conduct performance analysis of quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic processors
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and leading conferences
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate quantum concepts into enterprise solutions
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Experience with NISQ-era hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Expertise in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Understanding of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC project)
