Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Lead quantum error correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity in NISQ devices
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop cryogenic control systems at 15mK temperatures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for pharmaceutical molecular modeling
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and industry consortium summits
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NIST quantum research grants
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in quantum circuit optimization using tensor networks
- Demonstrated success securing federal research grants
- Expertise in superconducting qubit fabrication processes
