Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization problems in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor a team of quantum researchers and PhD candidates
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private investors
- Develop strategic partnerships with quantum hardware startups and academic institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction techniques
- Experience securing federal research grants or venture capital funding
