Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing research roadmaps for 2026-2027
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm development and optimization
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research and secure patents for novel quantum methodologies
- Develop quantum-computing-as-a-service platforms for enterprise clients
- Advise C-suite on quantum strategy and risk mitigation
- Mentor junior researchers and foster quantum literacy across departments
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Experience with quantum simulation tools and cloud quantum platforms
- Demonstrated leadership in managing R&D teams and projects
- Knowledge of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
