Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems

- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Secure multi-million dollar research grants from government and private sector
- Mentor PhD-level researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals or equivalent top-tier venues
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience managing high-budget R&D projects with cross-continental teams
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into commercial applications
- Active clearance for Department of Energy quantum research initiatives preferred
