Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for practical applications in healthcare and climate science
- Manage a cross-functional team of 8+ quantum physicists and ML engineers
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Develop patentable quantum error correction methodologies
- Partner with AWS and IBM quantum cloud platforms for scaling
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computational Physics with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Track record securing DoE or NSF research grants
- Experience leading high-stakes technical teams
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning frameworks
