Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and machine learning applications
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Manage cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and partnerships with DARPA/NSF
- Develop roadmaps for quantum advantage in cryptography and materials science
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of quantum research with 2+ leadership roles
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in quantum error correction techniques
- Proven grant-writing and stakeholder management skills
