Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical 2026 applications in drug discovery and climate modeling
- Lead a cross-functional team of 15+ quantum physicists and software engineers
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving 99.9% qubit stability
- Partner with NASA and IBM on hybrid quantum-classical supercomputing projects
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA and NSF research grants
- Publish findings in Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Architect scalable quantum processors using topological qubit designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science from Tier-1 institution
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum processors
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and custom quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of securing government research funding
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Experience leading teams of 10+ technical professionals
- Clearance for DoD quantum security projects preferred
