- Lead cross-functional teams in developing cryogenic quantum processor architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NASA research grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
- Partner with Intel/IBM to co-develop fault-tolerant quantum computing standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years experience with quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Demonstrated success scaling quantum systems beyond 1000 qubits
- Security clearance for DoD quantum research projects
- Fluency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware control languages
