Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims in superconducting systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure federal research grants
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Translate theoretical models into practical quantum machine learning frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum circuit design experience
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor calibration
- Strong background in topological quantum computing models
