Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experiments on superconducting quantum processors at 20mK temperatures
- Publish top-tier research in Nature/Science journals with quarterly review cycles
- Mentor PhD interns and collaborate with MIT's Quantum Engineering Center
- Secure SBIR/STTR grants for advanced quantum research initiatives
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (postdocs welcome)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Qiskit/Cirq or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with parallel computing experience
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and entanglement principles
- Security clearance eligibility for government-funded projects
