Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of qubit coherence techniques in cryogenic environments
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve quantum processor architecture
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum information science
- Present findings at international conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum simulation tools (Qiskit Aer, Quil)
- Strong background in linear algebra and statistical mechanics
- Experience with low-temperature quantum measurement systems
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental protocols
