Responsibilities
- Lead breakthrough research in quantum algorithms and error correction methodologies
- Design and execute large-scale quantum experiments on our proprietary hardware platforms
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop quantum applications for healthcare, logistics, and AI
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at quantum summits
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our open-source quantum software frameworks
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry grants for next-gen quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Proficiency with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into experimental prototypes
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DOE, DARPA)
