Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead experiments on superconducting quantum processors with 1000+ qubits
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning frameworks
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in NSF grants for quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Theory
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compilation techniques
- Proficiency with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
