Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop novel error-correction techniques for quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum system integration
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with industry partners
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages
- Secure external grants from NSF and DARPA programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Strong publication record in quantum computing research
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement principles
- Security clearance eligibility (for government projects)
