Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead cutting-edge research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge theoretical models with practical quantum processor implementations
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks and tools to accelerate quantum computing adoption
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum education initiatives within the organization
- Secure external funding through grants and partnerships with leading quantum research institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Deep expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical programming (Python, C++)
- Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms including superconducting qubits and trapped ions
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical solutions
