Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Lead cross-functional R&D in quantum error correction and hardware-software integration
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop proprietary quantum simulation frameworks for pharmaceutical and climate modeling
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing and patent novel IP in quantum cryptography
- Partner with DARPA and NASA on quantum-resistant security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics (post-doc preferred)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or topological quantum systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum supremacy demonstrations
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Security clearance eligibility for government-funded quantum initiatives
