As a Quantum Computing Research Scientist, you'll work in our state-of-the-art facility to develop breakthrough algorithms and solve previously unsolvable problems. Our team collaborates with MIT, Stanford, and NASA to accelerate quantum commercialization.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to mitigate decoherence and error correction challenges
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals and present at QIP conferences
- Drive intellectual property development with 8+ patent applications annually
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD interns in quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, ACM QCE)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with quantum simulators (QASM, QX) and cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
