Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability in NISQ devices
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into practical quantum circuits
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents for quantum communication systems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum security frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE Quantum)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
