Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum error correction protocols
- Develop novel qubit architectures using topological quantum computing
- Publish research in Nature Quantum journals and IEEE Quantum
- Collaborate with defense contractors on quantum-resistant cryptography
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
- Secure $500K+ in annual research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits
- Published work in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulation tools
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence
- Experience securing government research grants (NSF/DARPA preferred)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks
