In our Austin innovation hub, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry pioneers to develop quantum-safe protocols, implement post-quantum cryptography standards, and lead the migration of critical systems to quantum-resistant architectures. You'll shape industry standards while mentoring the next generation of quantum security experts.
Responsibilities
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic systems and post-quantum security protocols
- Architect distributed infrastructure supporting quantum-safe communication networks
- Lead migration of legacy systems to quantum-resistant architectures
- Develop zero-trust security frameworks for hybrid quantum-classical environments
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams on hardware-software co-design
- Establish quantum security benchmarks and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum security best practices
- Present findings at industry conferences and standardization bodies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cryptography, or Quantum Information with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in lattice-based cryptography and post-quantum algorithms (NIST standardization)
- Proven experience architecting distributed systems at scale (>10M devices)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing principles and threat models
- Proficiency in Rust/C++ for low-level cryptographic implementation
- CISSP or CQIA certification required
- Published research in quantum cryptography or top-tier security conferences
- Experience with AWS/Azure quantum cloud services
