Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in fast-paced emergency settings
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and perform emergency interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Participate in trauma resuscitation and critical care protocols
- Mentor new staff and contribute to departmental quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas (or compact state)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years Emergency Department experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
