Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service in a friendly, local Chicago environment.
- Assist customers in locating products and answer questions regarding our inventory.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain a clean, inviting store appearance.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and handle cash transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages to the manager.
- Ensure the sales floor is safe and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily sales goals and store targets.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age (proof of age required).
- Currently enrolled in high school or willing to balance work with studies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Previous retail or food service experience is a plus but not required.
