Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product recommendations and answering inquiries.
- Stock shelves and displays with new merchandise, ensuring the store is organized and visually appealing.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock transfers and sales floor organization.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment for all customers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges efficiently and courteously.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age (high school students welcome to apply).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
