Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize emergency patients with rapid triage protocols
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient encounters using EMR systems with 100% accuracy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during trauma activations
- Educate patients/families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Florida RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 1 year ED experience preferred (new grads considered)
- BSN degree or enrollment in BSN program
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
