Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AI/ML architectures tailored for high-volume, real-time inference.
- Lead the research and development of proprietary Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic workflows.
- Optimize model performance and reduce inference latency using techniques like quantization and distillation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and design teams to define AI product roadmaps.
- Establish best practices for MLOps, model monitoring, and ethical AI governance.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Natural Language Processing.
- Proficient in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Strong understanding of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) and RAG architectures.
- Experience deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
