Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-scale backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to define product requirements.
- Optimize database queries and application performance for speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices (e.g., SOLID principles).
- Participate in code reviews, technical architecture planning, and system design sessions.
- Identify and resolve technical debt to ensure long-term system stability.
- Implement robust security measures to protect data integrity and privacy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first culture.
