Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end-to-end cloud solutions on AWS/GCP with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead migration strategies for legacy systems to modern cloud-native architectures
- Conduct security assessments and compliance audits (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Mentor 3+ engineers through technical reviews and architecture workshops
- Optimize cloud costs through right-sizing and reserved instance strategies
- Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
- Present solution blueprints to C-level stakeholders and technical decision-makers
Qualifications
- 8+ years cloud architecture experience with 5+ years in AWS/GCP environments
- Expert-level certification (AWS Solutions Architect Pro or GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Strong background in microservices architecture and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-scale cloud migrations
